The Perm “Karavai” Quartet took part in the International Folk Weekend held in Oxford, Perm’s twin city.

It is the third time that Perm musicians participated in Oxford festivals. Performances were held at various venues in Oxford and Oxfordshire.

The Lord Mayor of Oxford received Perm musicians at St George's Chapel Library which has been an integral part of the life of the College of St George from its foundation.

Apart from the Folk Weekend, the Perm Quartet gave several charity performances organised by Perm Association in Oxford - the money raised will go to Perm Hospice and Children of Chernobyl Foundation.

The group was invited to participate in a number of festivals to be held in London and other cities across England.
